Terms of Use

Track Toolkit ("the app") is published by Pleiades Apps and authored by Martin Bateson. By installing, accessing, or using the app you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Informational use only

All content in the app — including tire recommendations, tire pressure suggestions, AFM race class eligibility results, track presets, suspension notes, and any other guidance — is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not professional advice and is not a substitute for the official rulebook, tire manufacturer data, your crew chief, your tech inspector, your suspension tuner, or your own judgment as a rider. Always verify any setting, pressure, or eligibility decision against primary sources before acting on it.

2. Assumption of risk

Riding a motorcycle on a racetrack, at a trackday, or in any form of competition is an inherently dangerous activity that can result in serious injury, permanent disability, or death. You acknowledge and accept this risk. You use the app, and act on any information it provides, entirely at your own risk.

You are solely responsible for: your motorcycle's condition and preparation; your tires, tire pressures, and warmer use; your suspension and chassis settings; your protective gear; your physical and mental fitness to ride; your skill level; your compliance with the rules of any sanctioning body, track, or event organizer; and every decision you make on or off track.

3. Release and waiver of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and forever discharge Pleiades Apps, Martin Bateson, and their respective affiliates, contributors, contractors, agents, and licensors (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, or expenses — including but not limited to claims for personal injury, death, property damage, lost income, disqualification, or wrongful exclusion — arising out of or relating in any way to:

• your use of, or inability to use, the app;
• any reliance on tire selections, pressures, settings, class eligibility, or other information presented by the app;
• any crash, mechanical failure, injury, or death that occurs before, during, or after a trackday, race, practice session, or street ride;
• any decision made by a sanctioning body, tech inspector, or event organizer regarding your eligibility, classification, or conduct.

This release applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not the Released Parties were advised of the possibility of such damages.

4. No warranty

The app is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with all faults and without warranty of any kind. The Released Parties disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, and uninterrupted availability. No advice or information obtained through the app creates any warranty not expressly stated in these terms.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or use, arising out of or relating to the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The total aggregate liability of the Released Parties for all claims arising out of or relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid to Pleiades Apps for the app in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD $10, whichever is greater.

6. Your account and content

• You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials and all activity under your account.
• You retain ownership of the journal entries, photos, and notes you create. You grant Pleiades Apps a limited license to store and display that content solely to operate the app for you.
• You agree not to upload unlawful, infringing, harassing, or otherwise harmful content.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the app.
• Do not use the app to violate any law or the rights of others.

8. Third-party hardware, brands, and services

References in the app to tire manufacturers, sanctioning bodies (including AFM), tracks, RaceBox, and other third parties are for identification only. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. Pleiades Apps and Martin Bateson are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them unless explicitly stated.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above. Your continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law and severability

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
